La Garage Boutique Launches its Online Boutique in July, 2012.

The boutique, billed as a "unique online shopping experience" is the creative result of a young stylist and fashionista who desired to share her gift for assembling gorgeous outfits from combining vintage clothing items and shoes that people were planning to discard with trendy pieces found in discount stores and in friends and relatives garages. With a keen eye for mixing colors and fabrics, the founder of La Garage Boutique collected over 100 outfits and convinced her mother to let her set-up the garage as a prototype boutique, with racks and display shelves to hold dresses, jackets, shoes, hats and jewelry.  Soon close friends and family members who had come for dinner or a visit began "shopping" in the boutique.  A small investment in lighting, carpet and commercial clothes racks became the foundation for La Garage Boutique.  In early July, La Garage Boutique launched its online presence, and begin making individual pieces as well as complete outfits available for purchase.

La Garage Boutique Reaches Out To The Next Generation

During its early days of operation, La Garage Boutique owner, Alexa Brown, spent time with her niece and young cousin and shared her vision and passion for fashion, music and art.  On a slow day she allowed the fashion savvy middle schoolers to model some of their favorite outfits from the boutique's inventory.

With sizes ranging from Junior's 5 thru 11, and Ladies size 2 through size 14, and styles that include casual sun dresses as well as evening and formal wear, it was not difficult for the little shoppers to select their favorite items and quickly snatch them out of the available inventory.

Most items in the boutique are single items, one of a kind, and sold on a "first come, first served" basis. On a rare occasion a buyer will identify an item of interest, and request that it be held for future purchase.  The inventory is constantly changing, so check back often.
